A Bridge between Computer Files and Photography:
The Digital Film Recorders of CCG

CCG is one of the leading producers of digital film recorders with representatives in 25 countries. By taking over the former Agfa film recorder division, it also became the only European manufacturer. Its headquarters are in Hofheim (near Frankfurt), which means both basic research and product development are in one location. With a background of more than 15 years of experience in digital imaging, CCG has consistently developed new solutions and new systems to help its customers store imaging data in the best way possible and using ordinary film materials.

From the very beginning, CCG didn't concentrate solely on the development of film recorders. Instead, it always tried to put together a package solution which produced reliable, high quality results.

CCG film recorders are available in a number of different models and for different film formats (from 35 mm to 4x5 inch). This means that there is an ideal model for every type of job. Scientists and researchers value the high quality of the images for slide presentations while photofinishers appreciate the seamless way CCG film recorders can be integrated into existing analog production processes.

One use for CCG film recorders which has become increasingly important is the archiving and long-term storage of digital data on chemical film material, independent of short-lived data media or file formats. This insures both unparalleled long-term stability as well as universal readability and use.

There's another CCG film recorder especially designed for cinematic use. Animations, renderings or any other digital image data can be economically exposed onto 35 mm film---and with the highest cinematic quality. This makes integration into the normal production processes possible as well as archiving of valuable data independent of their format.

All CCG products have a number of things in common:

  • the very highest quality both of the equipment itself as well as the results achieved
  • outstanding productivity, whether in a technical-scientific context, or when used for film finishing and film production
  • completely integrated systems from image detection to ouput and seamless integration into existing digital or analog production systems and processes
  • integration into existing digital or analog production systems and processes
  • value for money which is unique throughout the industry
  • simple operation and highly integrated systems in order
  • fast production of excellent results
